Dating Duration

Estimated Duration
How long should a date last? There’s no actual time limit. Think about it, if it’s going really well, do you want to tell your date “well, time’s up!”? I didn’t think so! Then again, if there’s no real chemistry and lots of awkward silences, it might be appropriate to cut it short. Chances are, neither party will protest! Dating duration can be broken down into four levels: short and sweet, medium, long, and unlimited.

  • Dating DurationShort and Sweet - A date that's just long enough to learn someone's name and figure out if you want to see them again. However, it's still short enough that there's no feeling of commitment or attachment. A good idea is to do something casual.
  • Medium - This date is a bit longer. You'll have to like the person you're dating and should want to spend some time with them.
  • Long - Long, but not drawn out. You obviously like your date very much to want to spend so much time with them. And the feelings re mutual (you hope!).
  • Unlimited - You must be in love. This is one long date. It could last an entire day, weekend, or lifetime. Have fun.
